A little sneak for yet another amazing couple – Will and Leslie just got married this past Sunday and are off in Africa for the next 6 weeks. I have to say, you two win the prize so far for most unique ceremony…..everyone came in by steam train and the ceremony was held at a tressle, train and all. A small and intimate wedding with such a laid back couple. Perfection.

A few weeks back I had the pleasure of shooting alongside Brooke at a truly incredible wedding. The first time B met Angela, she called me up and said…..you HAVE to shoot this with me; you will love this girl!  Well, she was right:) Angela and Jimmy were both so kind-hearted, genuine and funny that the day didn’t feel like work at all. I truly enjoyed every second of it….prickles, tumbleweeds, scratches and all:)

So, for any of you who have been to my blog, you’ll know that I talk a LOT. Which also means I type a lot. Well, this time it’s one image and few words…..it’s much later than I care to admit, and it’s a 9 a.m. wedding in the morning:)  Today Brooke and I had the best time shooting Damian and Hailey’s wedding, and to say they were an incredible couple  would be an understatement.

Soooo…..because you were uber fabulous, here is a sneak before you head off on your honeymoon. Have a wonderful time – you deserve every second.

Sweet, genuine and totally into each other. That is what I got from Kyle and Krystal. They were so comfortable in front of the camera it made my job that much more enjoyable!  The day was hot, sunny and beautiful….a perfect day for a wedding, especially at Penticton Lakeside Resort where the ceremony and reception were held. Thank you to the wonderful bridal party and both of your families…..we had a wonderful time and hope you enjoy your photos:)

Here’s a bit of what I’ve been up to the past week……although it is of course starting to feel hectic and busy and crazy – I am loving being in the midst of it all!  This next week is going to be another one with me behind the camera….Nevaeh’s ballet recital, an outdoor photoshoot of my girlies, a teensy baby girl, an uber stylish family of 4, and second shooting a wedding with Brooke. Whew!. I guess this means it’s time to start hitting the caffeine again. Hehehe!

A wonderful engagement session I got to shoot with BrookeFamily session of four of the nicest kids around….a surprise for Father’s Day!My first wedding of the year….it was hot and very sunny – these two rocked it!Last but not least – a very chill baby boy. Easiest baby to date….thanks Evan!

This session is one I’m very proud of…..and our first Bridal session of sorts. We had a vintage theme for this one, not because of our request, but because Jessica is a true Vintage Girl. Their family owns our fave shop in town called Vintage & Vogue and it truly is fab. I can hardly wait to share the rest of the images…..so make sure to head on over to our White Linen site in the coming days to see this beauty in all her finery.  Seriously…..I’d consider selling one of my limbs to get my hands on some of the things she wore. Simply beautiful:)

Now come on….is she stunning, or what?! If my hubby is reading this and agrees to marry me again…..I’ve found my dress!

So, it took awhile to get things in order, but I pulled together my favourite images of 2009 to share with all of my wonderful clients, friends and blog followers ( that still seems hilarious to me – strangers coming to my lil ol blog to check things out…seriously?  SO appreciated)!!!  Anyways, here are the fab couples. They really, truly were. I’m pretty sure I laughed my a** off , and made a fool of myself with every single one of you. So much fun…..thank you thank you a million times over for choosing me to document such an important day in your lives. I am so thrilled to be doing this, and can’t wait for what 2010 brings. I’d also like to say a very special “thank you” to Brooke for being my partner in crime….it seriously is double the fun having you to work with – I don’t know if anyone else could deal with my bossiness/quirkiness/flightiness as well as you do ! Stay tuned to us both as we put some amazing plans into action in the coming year……
