Well, it finally happened! I found out where God’s Mountain B & B was, and had the perfect out-of-town couple in for an engagement session. Ryan and Jen -you two were so chill, such good listeners, and totally at ease with me. I hadn’t done a morning session in quite a while, and you two broke me in! Jen + Ryan+ God’s Mountain = Perfection. I just cannot WAIT to shoot your wedding next June. Hope you enjoy all the photos….thank you again for being fabulous!!!

Brooke and I had such a great time with this couple; a warm breezy evening with soft glowy light could only mean we were happy happy girls! We shot two locations we’d driven by before but never tried out – I’m so glad we did….even if that meant I had to cancel a late night client meeting because I was still picking thorns out of my clothes! Pat and Kara, you made our jobs easy peasy and so very enjoyable. Thanks for being fab!

Sarah + Shane :: Engaged

A beautiful session for a very beautiful couple. Sarah and Shane will be married this September, and it is a wedding I am truly excited about; their attention to detail is nothing short of fabulous…..when I saw Sarah’s dress and Shane’s blazer and his Pa’s hat – to say I was inspired is an understatement. Only one setback happened on this shoot – we were bombarded with rain and a very stormy sky, so we decided to outrun the rain. A 45 minute drive later and we found ourselves in this stunning field Brooke and I had spotted during a drive to Vancouver. It couldn’t have turned out better……even with the rain:)

Sarah and Shane….thank you for being so patient with me; and especially for being so sweet – it was easy to capture the real “you’s”!

This wonderful couple is getting married September, and I cannot wait for what is sure to be an incredible day. We headed out this evening to a black sky and a lot of rain. We drove for an hour while crossing our fingers and hoped for a break. Well, we got it. Just so happens Brooke and I had spotted this field on our drive to Vancouver and the sun peeked out just as we were driving past. To say I am thrilled with this session, and more importantly, this couple – would be an understatement. Sarah and Shane, the two of you are so obviously in love that you can do no wrong in front of the camera. I loved photographing you together and am counting down for the big day:)

Ryan + Ashley :: Engaged

This session was pleasantly surprising……with a last minute call from Brooke, I dropped off my girlies ( with her husband…hehe)! and headed a bit out of town to meet up with Ash + Ryan, Brooke’s “soon-to-be” bride and groom. As we drove to the location, the clear sky not only clouded over, but blackened. I mean, lights out. It was dark, drizzly and very windy. Not the situation you’re hoping for with an out of town couple that neither Brooke or I had met before. But luck was on our side again, and although the drizzle stuck around, Ashley and Ryan’s positive vibes, adorable pups and trust in our abilities made the shoot a success. And yes, I know…are they not ridiculously good looking?! That paired with a beautiful location meant a shoot we are both giddy about. I can’t wait to second shoot this wedding! Spring Sneaks :: 2010

Here’s a bit of what I’ve been up to the past week……although it is of course starting to feel hectic and busy and crazy – I am loving being in the midst of it all! This next week is going to be another one with me behind the camera….Nevaeh’s ballet recital, an outdoor photoshoot of my girlies, a teensy baby girl, an uber stylish family of 4, and second shooting a wedding with Brooke. Whew!. I guess this means it’s time to start hitting the caffeine again. Hehehe!

A wonderful engagement session I got to shoot with Brooke Family session of four of the nicest kids around….a surprise for Father’s Day!My first wedding of the year….it was hot and very sunny – these two rocked it!Last but not least – a very chill baby boy. Easiest baby to date….thanks Evan!

Hailey + Damien:: Engaged

I’ve done it again……ended up with a fabulous couple who is kind, intelligent, funny and seriously smokin’ in front of the camera. Hailey and Damien, you both rocked it for us. Brooke and I were fortunate enough to book this great couple for their wedding in 2010, and we are VERY excited – if you’d had a sneak at the dress, you would be too! The shoot was the first time we had all met, and B and I felt instantly comfortable with them. Comfortable enough for me to trust Damien to catch me if I fell off the roof of a 100 year old cabin I decided to climb up….not one of my finer moments considering I didn’t even end up with a great shot from up there! Everything came together and we truly had a great time.

Thank you again for booking us; we are SO looking forward to your big day……now enjoy your photos!
