Finally, after mass neglect in the land o blog- world – I have decided to take some time and put up something to make not only myself…but hopefully a few others smile:) The lack of posts was mainly because of finishing up as many orders and albums as I could in time for Christmas, as well as all the little bits of personal stuff…..Christmas shopping, wrapping, redoing the girls’ playroom ( in time for Christmas…ahhhh)! as well as refinishing a bunch of furniture, painting 3 rooms as well as our kitchen…that one took 3x; I just couldn’t get the darned colour right!
Amongst all the chaos we managed to get the girls scrubbed clean and in front of the camera….I brought in a lot of helpers; 3 of Nev’s neighborhood friends( to help keep Eve happy) as well as another Mum… I could NOT have done it on my own. Still, Eve was true to character…acting like her usual Eve of Destruction self, and the only way we could get her to smile was to “let” her throw pinecones directly at my head. Fabulous. So, you may notice these are definitely not all in focus, but they are completely perfect in my eyes and well worth the sweating, cursing ( under my breath) and headache that lasted the rest of the day.
Hope all of my wonderful blog-followers have an incredible Christmas and holiday season and that you stay warm and safe and most of all happy:)
See you in 2011…2012…seriously? I have to go google what year it is; I do not for the life of me know for sure! Does that mean I’m getting older??! haha. Enjoy the pics:)
MERRY CHRISTMAS!!!!
Something about this one makes me smile…

Nevaeh’s girls:)

This is soooooo Nevaeh ; she’s like ” alright Mum, it’s been 5 minutes – now where is the coin you promised me”? haha.
These last two I MAJOR love! Especially the last one as it captures exactly what photographing them was like -pinecone throwing at all!

Here’s our wee-est girl, back at 13 months old….. in just 12 short weeks she will be turning TWO and we just cannot believe how it’s flown by. She was a quite, timid, not-so-cuddly babe back then. Now she’s a clever, curious daredevil who thinks ( and acts) like a boy! One positive….she’s now turning into a cuddler just like her big sissy:)
And in case you’re wondering just why I waited so long to post these….well, Brooke took them when she was babysitting and forgot all about them. The perks of having a photog friend!!! Love. These. As for Nevaeh? Well, I’ll be dressing up the girls in their Christmas outies tomorrow for one last session before my Canon gets shipped off to another home and I officially become a Nikon girl. Stay tuned!!!
Mish.

Brooke…….I still cannot believe you forgot about these; they are my faves of her. You are the best:) lumi
Two girls, fresh out of the tub……cotton jammies, clean sheets, bouncing and giggles. What more could you ask for?!
And yes, I do realize that our youngest mildly resembles Jack Nicholson in The Shining – darn good thing she’s cute, right?
Enjoy the pics…man, it was funny getting these. Little ones crack me right up!

A tiny sneak for a very loved little man…tune in for more soon!

Here’s a bit of what I’ve been up to the past week……although it is of course starting to feel hectic and busy and crazy – I am loving being in the midst of it all! This next week is going to be another one with me behind the camera….Nevaeh’s ballet recital, an outdoor photoshoot of my girlies, a teensy baby girl, an uber stylish family of 4, and second shooting a wedding with Brooke. Whew!. I guess this means it’s time to start hitting the caffeine again. Hehehe!
Enjoy the sneaks and make sure to stay tuned in for full posts:)
A wonderful engagement session I got to shoot with Brooke
Family session of four of the nicest kids around….a surprise for Father’s Day!
My first wedding of the year….it was hot and very sunny – these two rocked it!
Last but not least – a very chill baby boy. Easiest baby to date….thanks Evan!

These were so great to do while down on the Island, as the subjects are not only beauuutiful, but Mama Jack and I have been friends for about 28 years – WOW, does that make me feel old. One of my fondest memories is of us jumping into our swimsuits and hopping into her tub full of bright blue Calgon bubbles and then blasting the Beach Boys “Kokomo”. Another that you may have forgotten about Jack, is when we first got training bras and decided we wanted bigger tata’s- we improvised and took some of plastic eggs your Mum’s nylons came in, popped them in half and stuck em down our shirts. Oh yeah, we rocked it:) Anyways, on with the pics….your family is gorgeous Jack and I’m just so proud of how much you’ve accomplished.
Mwah!
My fave….you can just see how much Jack adores her girls.
Big Sis….Miss Pina.
Big Sis Pina…..this little lady had moves!

This one is extra special for Mum as this is the tiara Jack wore for her wedding 10 years ago….we also have a photo with Pina wearing it at just a few weeks old.
Loving this…
Do you ever wonder just what it is the wee ones are thinking at times?! hehe….
Miss Isabella, or “Babybel” as she is more often called….such a dolly:)

Love these ones of Mama and her girls…
** A last one added from our play date with the girls the following day – true Island weather, it drizzled the whole time, but we bundled up and got this smooshy, lovey image that I just adore. Thanks for the visit!
